Who am I?

I'm 42 years old. I'm looking ahead to the retirement years and love that together with my husband I can make this happen easier with what I do being a WAHM.

What makes me qualified to be writing about work at home moms?

I struggled for years trying to break into the writers market with my many short stories. That proved to be fruitless. I tried many "schemes" wasting a lot of precious money thinking that just one of those "Get Rich Quick Schemes" would actually work. But alas, they didn't.

In January 1999 we bought a new computer and logged onto the internet for the first time. I was so green to it all I had to call our ISP to ask how to check email! But the internet fascinated me to the point that I started on a path to learning how to design and build websites.

I took many online classes to teach me how to build websites and design graphics. I researched about web hosting. I started my own retail website that bloomed into several web-businesses. I even incorporated at one point and ran my thriving retail biz from my home - all the while growing our family.

Eventually I sold my retail sites and settled on doing web design and in my own websites where I write about my passions. My Stages-in-Pregnancy site is the first site I started with SBI! and also Go Green Solar Energy and The Dog Biscuit. SBI! is the best all around web solutions package out there!

What makes me qualified is that I have forged a path in bringing in an income to our household, and I do it all while working from home! And this is the knowledge I would like to share with you - who desire to also be a work at home mom!
