Over the years I talked to many other parents whose children also had special needs and shared my knowledge with them. I then looked into starting a website to help other parents & network with people across the county in order to share my knowledge with others.

I found SBI to be a great way to start a website ? their training and support are amazing! I learned so much the first few weeks and it was an easy site to navigate & find answers to my questions. At first starting a website may sound like an overwhelming task and people think ? "I can't do it or I don't know how" SBI breaks it down into daily tasks for you and teaches you step by step, you don't need to be a computer expert, just basic skills is all that's needed. Some people may also think, "I don't have time", while it's amazing what you can get done in 1 ? 2 focused hours of work. I am a firm believer in goal setting and follow a rule for myself of doing three things for my goals per day ? even if it's just making one phone call or sending one email, you will steadily get to your goal. An information website is great for stay at home moms ? you can work flexible hours when you have time & make money through sales of products you recommend and by selling advertising on your site.
