A simple route to getting started would be to print some business cards advertising your services then distribute tham to local small businesses. Unfortunately, home based data entry work scams abound on the internet - a legitimate data entry ad will NOT ask you to pay any money. As you would expect with any 'real' job, they should pay YOU!

If you have products to sell and can write about them reasonably well, you can sell them online. You can contract your services out via websites that can showcase your services and skills. Sites such as Elance allow you to bid on work at home jobs.

Daycare Provider

Check with your state to see if they have assistant programs that will aid you in setting up. You can also find more information at Childcare.gov.

Don't limit yourself as a daycare provider to just small children...

You could offer daycare for pets, or even for elderly or physically challenged adults.
