Work From Home Typing JobsBe careful for the ads that are really work at home scams. Often they ask for an upfront fee and promise you the moon. The only thing they actually deliver on is taking your money. If the ad promises that you can earn $500 or more a week be wary. If all you have to do is fill out a short form and send it along with a registration fee in - then you can bank on one thing. You will never see $500 a week from them. They are likely pocketing that from others who fall for their scam though. But the ad promises that as soon as you receive your assignments, and type the work they send - you may think it's easy, especially if you are a superb typist. It almost sounds too good to be true. And normally what sounds this way is too good to be true. Normally when you receive your "packet" it will just be a list of "possible" companies that might hire you. Or might not. There are no guarantees with this. Some - a few may get lucky and actually be hired. But the pay rate may not be the shining $500 that was advertised originally. It may be much less. A lot of the companies may never have been looking for a typist at all. Some of these lists are pulled right from the yellow pages of a phone book. But how can you find a legitimate work from home job? You can – but you will need to be more proactive in finding the work. Probably skip the classifieds - don't fall prey to the scams. Go to websites that you enjoy reading and look for the job opportunity links that appears on some. Be bold and send your resume to companies, offering your services to type. YOU place ads offering your services - place them on relevant sites that offer classified - and in newspapers. Join forums and groups (online) of writers / typists. Search for this on your favorite search engine. And - of course - check out my links under 'Work at Home' to the left of this page. You'll see that it IS possible to find real work from home typing jobs that will bring you that extra income you need. |
